Welcome to bonnodog! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the bonnodog website (www.bonnodog.com.au) and the purchase of any products or subscriptions from us. Important Notice: "bonnodog" is a brand owned by Millell Pty Ltd (trading as ‘Pet Circle’) (ABN 17 148 151 213) ("Pet Circle", "we", "our", or "us"). When you purchase bonnodog products, your purchase is fulfilled by Pet Circle. By accessing the bonnodog website, creating an account, or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as Pet Circle’s Privacy Policy.
1. The bonnodog Service & Subscriptions
bonnodog provides a recurring subscription service delivering fresh, customised dog food to your door.
- 1.1 Subscription Model: By signing up, you agree to receive recurring deliveries of our fresh dog food at the frequency you select (e.g. weekly, fortnightly, monthly).
- 1.2 Recurring Billing: You authorise Pet Circle (operating as bonnodog) to automatically charge your nominated payment method for your subscription orders prior to dispatch. Charges will continue based on your selected frequency until you change, pause or cancel your subscription. If you sign up using a promotional offer or free trial, the “Summary” page will display the promotional price as well as the regular (i.e. non-discounted) price that will apply after the promotional period.
- 1.3 Managing, Pausing, or Cancelling: You can modify your meal plans, change your delivery address, and pause or cancel your subscription, at any time via your bonnodog online account or by contacting our Customer Experience team directly. We will send you a reminder email 7 days before your upcoming order is due to be processed, confirming the price for your upcoming order, and the date on which your payment will be processed (processing date). This gives you the opportunity to edit your meal plan, skip a delivery, or cancel your subscription before that date. Because our food is made fresh to order, to take effect on your upcoming order, all changes must be completed before the processing date. Any modifications, pauses, or cancellations made after that point will apply to your next scheduled delivery.
2. Fresh Food Handling & Delivery
Because bonnodog provides fresh, perishable food, specific delivery and handling rules apply.
- 2.1 Delivery & Risk: Deliveries are fulfilled by our network of couriers. If no one is available at your delivery address at the time of delivery, our courier will leave your bonnodog box unattended in the location specified by you in your delivery instructions. If you do not leave instructions, or if the courier determines your instructed delivery location is unsafe, the courier will leave your bonnodog box unattended in a location the courier considers reasonably safe. You acknowledge that our deliveries may be left unattended. Where a delivery is left unattended at your address, risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery, to the extent permitted by law.
- 2.2 Perishable Goods: Our food is delivered in packaging with ice packs and insulation designed to keep the food cold in transit. However, it is your responsibility to unpack the box and transfer the food to a refrigerator or freezer as soon as possible, and no later than the time specified on the packaging and other communications from us. We are not responsible for spoilage where you fail to follow reasonable storage instructions provided by us, to the extent permitted by law.
- 2.3 Delivery Zones: bonnodog currently delivers to selected postcodes. If we cannot deliver to your area, we will notify you at checkout.
3. Pricing & Payments
- 3.1 Pricing: All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST. Your subscription cost is based on the meal plan generated from your dog's profile, including their weight, activity level, and dietary requirements.
- 3.2 Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. We will provide you with advance written notice of at least 30 days (via email to your registered email address) of any price changes affecting your subscription, giving you the opportunity to cancel or modify your plan before the new prices take effect. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel your subscription without any penalty or exit fees.
- 3.3 Payment Processing: Payments are securely processed by Millell Pty Ltd (trading as Pet Circle). Your bank or credit card statement will reflect charges from "Pet Circle" or "Pet Circle - bonnodog".
- 3.4 Promotions & Offers: We may run introductory offers and new customer promotions from time to time (e.g. "30% off your first box"). These introductory and new customer offers only apply to new bonnodog customers. We may also run other promotions periodically, subject to specific terms and conditions provided at the time of the offer. Introductory offers are available once per person, household, or payment method.
4. Refunds, Returns & Guarantees
- 4.1 Perishable Exemption: Because bonnodog supplies highly perishable fresh food, we do not accept returns for change of mind or if you ordered the wrong item due to your own error. Nothing in this clause limits your consumer guarantee rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
- 4.2 Quality Issues: If your bonnodog delivery arrives damaged, spoiled, or at an unsafe temperature (and you retrieved it within a reasonable time after delivery), please contact our Customer Experience team as soon as possible after delivery at support@bonnodog.com.au. Please include photos of the issue. We will provide a replacement or refund for the affected products (or credit to your account, if you prefer) in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
- 4.3 Clean Bowl Guarantee: We are confident your dog will love our fresh meals. However, if your dog does not like your first delivery of bonnodog, please contact our customer experience team within 14 days after your delivery and we will refund you (excluding shipping fees) under our “Clean Bowl Guarantee”. Please note that this guarantee can only be claimed once per account.
5. Nutritional & Veterinary Disclaimer
- 5.1 General Advice Only: Our meal plans are formulated by veterinary nutritionists to meet the standards of the Association of American Feed Control (AAFCO) for dog nutrition. However, the information provided on our website or by our team is for general guidance only and does not substitute professional veterinary advice.
- 5.2 Your Dog's Health: If your dog has specific health conditions, allergies, or illnesses, you should consult your veterinarian before transitioning them to bonnodog. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any adverse reactions.
6. User Accounts & Marketing
- 6.1 Account Creation & Accuracy: You must be at least 18 years of age to create a bonnodog account. When creating a bonnodog profile, you must provide accurate and up-to-date information about yourself and your dog, and keep that information current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activities that occur under your account.
- 6.2 Marketing & Communications: We will send you essential service communications relating to your subscription, deliveries, and account security. Where you have opted in at account creation or subsequently through your account settings, we will send you marketing and promotional communications. You may opt in separately to bonnodog marketing, Pet Circle marketing, or both — see the Privacy Policy Addendum for details.
- 6.3 Managing Your Preferences: You can manage your communication preferences at any time. If you no longer wish to receive marketing communications from bonnodog or Pet Circle, you can opt out by clicking the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of our marketing emails, or by updating your communication preferences within your account settings. Please note that opting out of marketing communications will not stop essential service and transactional emails regarding your active bonnodog subscription.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the bonnodog website, including branding, logos, text, graphics, and software, is the property of Pet Circle. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from the bonnodog website without our prior written consent.
8. Limitation of Liability
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your use of our products or services (including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits), even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss. Subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms or our products is limited to the amount you paid for the specific delivery giving rise to the claim.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our business. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. For material changes to these Terms, we will provide you with at least 30 days’ notice by email prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the bonnodog service following such notice constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. You may cancel your subscription before the changes take effect if you do not agree with the new Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
